Nowadays it is commonly used to prevent gas loss or free flow from your second stage or rebreather. Divers also used it with deco rigs, stage bottles, drysuit or BC inflation etc... The working pressure is below 200psi low pressure only and we highly recommend to install the first stage over pressure relief valve when you use this shutoff valve.
